Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar tools to run this site, count visits and measure ads. Our cookie policy lists each one, who sets it and how long it lasts.
We set these cookies ourselves, each for up to 90 days:
- dr_ft and dr_lt remember how you first and most recently reached our site: source, medium, campaign, landing page and date.
- dr_gclid, dr_gbraid and dr_wbraid hold a Google ad click ID.
- dr_pv counts the pages you view and lists the kinds of pages, never their names.
- dr_utm_* and dr_landing hold campaign tags and your landing page.
When you book, we save these values with your booking.
Advertising and measurement
We advertise on Google to reach people looking for therapy. To learn which ads lead to appointments, we send Google a small event when a lead reaches a step in our process. The event holds the ad click ID from your visit, the time, and the name of a general step, such as "lead created" or "qualified lead". It holds no name, email address, phone number, insurance detail, note or appointment detail.
To match your booking to your record, we keep a scrambled code (a keyed hash) made from your email address and another made from your phone number. We keep these codes on our own systems and do not store them next to your name. Without our secret key, they cannot be turned back into your email address or phone number.
You can limit Google's use of data for ads at adssettings.google.com. You can read how Microsoft handles Clarity data in the Microsoft privacy statement.
How long we keep information
| Information | How long we keep it |
|---|---|
| Booking log with your click ID, the number and kinds of pages you viewed, and the scrambled codes for your email and phone | 120 days |
| Lead report records (an ID, dates, channel, stage and counts of interactions, with no names) | 24 months after the last activity |
| Click ID and campaign cookies | Up to 90 days, in your browser |
| Self-assessment results | 24 months |
We keep other information, such as contact form and chat records, call and text logs, and client records, for as long as we need it for the purposes above and as the law requires. Analytics tools keep data under their own retention settings.
How we protect information
Our website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Our lead reports show an ID and dates, with no names, email addresses or phone numbers, and only site administrators can open them. No website or system is completely secure. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you as the law requires.
Your choices and rights
- Cookies. Use your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Our cookie policy explains how.
- Texts and emails. Contact us to stop texts or marketing emails.
- Your information on our website and marketing lists. You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it.
To make a request, email care@dayrisewellness.com or call (331) 425-8625. We may ask you to confirm who you are. We respond as quickly as we can.
Children and teens
We see children and teens. A parent or legal guardian makes appointments and completes forms for a child. This website is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information through it. If you believe a child sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Health information
Some of what you tell us becomes part of your health record when you become a client. Federal law (HIPAA) and Illinois law, including the Illinois Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Confidentiality Act, protect that record. If you have questions about how we handle your health information, contact us.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We post the new version on this page with a new effective date. For a material change, we also say so on this page.
Effective date: October 2, 2026.
